GORLA MORSETTERIE was founded in 1936 and until 1973 was specialized in the construction of terminal blocks and equipment for medium voltage power lines and substations (72.5 kV). In the following decade, without abandoning these products, the production of terminal blocks and equipment for cabins and high voltage power lines (220 kV) was also started. In the 1990s, the production of electrical terminal blocks and very high voltage equipment (up to 400 kV) was also started. Gorla Morsetterie has recently started the production of accessories for conductors with carbon fiber core.
The Company has obtained ENEL and TERNA approval for Medium, High and Very High Voltage equipment and terminal blocks, and the approval of the State Railways for equipment and terminal blocks for Primary Lines.
Our options of terminals and equipment for power lines, medium and high voltage substations and accessories for carbon fiber core conductors are proudly offered to customers.
We currently employ a team of fully qualified electricians and a number of apprentices. We have been registered with the ECA and therefore all our electricians are JIB registered. Our goal is to keep our services high and our prices very competitive.
The company is a supplier of ENEL, TERNA and the State Railways throughout the national territory, of numerous Municipal Companies, as well as of the most important companies in the sector such as ANSALDO, ABB, SIEMENS and also of European Electricity Companies.
In 1995 the Company obtained the certification according to the UNI EN ISO 9002 standard. In 1997 the Company obtained the certification according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.
In 2016, Gorla Morsetterie obtained the certification according to the OHSAS 18001 and UNI EN ISO 14001 standards.
The company has obtained the qualification as supplier of ENEL and TERNA, of some European Electricity Authorities and of the main installers of national overhead power lines. The company produces parts in steel, bronze, aluminum alloy and cast iron.
