HISTORY
GORLA MORSETTERIE was established in 1936 and up to 1973 was specialized in manufacture of clamps and fittings for Medium Voltage over-head transmission lines and substations (up to 72,5 kV).
In the following decade, Gorla Morsetterie also started producing clamps and fittings for High Voltage over-head transmission lines and substations (up to 220 kV), and in the nineties launched the production of clamps and fittings for Very High Voltage over-head transmission lines and substations (up to 400 kV). In the last years Gorla Morsetterie started producing fittings for carbon fibre conductors.
Gorla Morsetterie IS qualified for ENEL and TERNA for clamps and fittings for Medium, High and Very High Voltage over-head transmission line, and Ferrovie dello Stato for clamps and fittings for Primary lines.
Gorla Morsetterie supplies ENEL, TERNA and Ferrovie dello Stato on the national territory, several municipal concerns, and the main enterprises of the sector, as ANSALDO, ABB, SIEMENS and European public companies.
In 1995 Gorla Morsetterie obtained certification in accordance with ISO 9002 and in 1997 in accordance with ISO 9001.
In 2016 Gorla Morsetterie obtained certification in accordance with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
The enterprise is qualified as supplier for ENEL, TERNA, several European public companies and for the main national over-head lines and substations installation firms.
The concern produces steel, aluminium alloy, copper alloy and cast-iron pieces.
